Day 10

 Senior Project | May 19th

This morning, Mitchell and I began the morning by getting up for breakfast so we’d be properly fueled for our day ahead. Afterwards, we continued onto the gym where we got in a brief sweat. We then headed over to Admissions to meet with Alicia who had just returned from her trip. She introduced us to neuropsychological evaluations and explained to us how to read them in the context of a learning profile she might receive. Because of the prominent learning skills program at Proctor, the Admissions department deals with these profiles often and must have a solid understanding of how they affect a student’s transcript, application, and overall learning experience. It was interesting to learn more about this specific aspect of Proctor Admissions. We also discussed acceptances (what weighs into them), reading transcripts, and teacher recommendations. It was a productive day and we learned a lot. More tomorrow.
